In this country, it has become very popular for companies to require drug screening as a condition of employment. You've seen the "This is a drug-free workplace" signs, I'm sure.
This is wrong, wrong, wrong!!!
No company has the right to control what it's employees do in their off-time. No matter how much the pay. Period. End of story.

We went to court yesterday. We held a prayer session beforehand, of course. We mentally prepared ourselves for what the court would hand us. We never suspected that our own lawyer would try to derail us.

Regarding the "Pot for Pain" article from May 24th, Rep Laura Hall calls this bill "very personal." This bill should be very personal for ALL of us! As a nurse, I encounter many people with life-threatening, debilitating diseases and conditions. Why is this medicine still not available to my patients? (I can't even talk about it with my patients, even though I know the truth!) |
