MOTION FOR RECONSIDERATION OF DENIAL OF MOTION TO PROCEED WITHOUT PREPAYMENT OF FEES

COMES NOW the Petitioners, Rev. William Bruce Shoop and Rev. Brenda Sue Shoop a.k.a. Brenda Sue Williams for reconsideration of the Motion to Proceed Without Prepayment of Fees in relation to court costs, including filing fees, transcript fees, and copy fees.   We ask for this reconsideration in light of the following:

·        On October 31, 2007, our request for court-appointed counsel using the form provided by the Circuit Clerks Office was denied. Attached to this request was our Motion to Proceed Without Prepayment of Fees. This motion not addressed separately.

·        We are currently seeking an attorney to work on our case pro bono. However, we continue to be burdened by court costs, such as filing fees, transcript fees, and copy fees associated with our defense.

·        We are in need of transcripts from the court proceeding on October 29, 2007 in order to examine the testimony of our Bishop and also from the court proceeding on October 31, 2007.

·        We have been recognized by the court as Ministers of the Gospel.

We respectfully move the court to reconsider our request and relieve us of the burdens of these court related costs.

This MOTION was signed by both parties on this the 1st day of November in the Year of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Anointed Two Thousand and Seven and requested in good faith.
